Custom Scenicking — Layout v2 Infancy photos
The bones of the second layout: the plaster-hardshell terrain phase, start to rough. Cardboard web and screen over the benchwork, plaster cloth and Hydrocal troweled on and carved into mountains, river gorges taped out, tunnel portals bored through the ridges — all wrapping the hand-painted sky panels. BN green units run test laps through the bare plaster to prove clearances before a speck of scenery goes down. Rough, white, and dusty, but every ridgeline here is shaped by hand. Ends on a Colorado storm sky — the prototype inspiration out the back door.
